What Is our Anger Management Course?

Is This Anger Management Course Right for You?

You can't change what happened. You can change what happens next.

It might be snapping at your partner over something small. Shutting down when you should be communicating. Feeling like you’re always one bad moment away from saying or doing something you can’t take back.

That pattern is changeable. But it doesn’t change on its own.

Signs this course is what you need

If any of these sound familiar, this program was built for you:

You're not a bad person — but something needs to change
Learn And Build

What You'll Learn and Build in This Program

This isn’t about suppressing anger or pretending it doesn’t exist. It’s about understanding what’s driving it — and building the practical skills to respond differently, in real situations, in real time. Here’s what the program covers:

Understanding what's actually driving your anger

Anger rarely comes out of nowhere. The course will help you understand what anger is and where it is actually coming from for you.  you map the triggers, patterns, and build-up that lead to your reactions — so you can see them coming before they take over.

Learning How to Emotionally regulate.

When your stressed, feeling low or anxious, clear thinking goes offline, frustration and anger can build. You’ll learn practical techniques to regulate and manage your emotions and mental health — so you can stay in control when pressure, frustration, or conflict starts to rise.

Managing your thinking and mental health

Anger can perpetuated by our automatic thinking — negative assumptions, worst-case interpretations, dwelling and overthinking. It can also be impacted by our general mental health, stress, anxiety and mood. You’ll learn to recognise your thought patterns and take steps to practically improve your mental health.

Responding instead of reacting — in real situations

This is where the work becomes practical. You’ll build the ability to pause, choose your response, and handle difficult moments — without losing control or making things worse. You will also learn how to respond in a way that reflects how you really want to show up and leads to positive outcomes.

Communication that works In Relationships

Poor communication skills often exacerbate anger. When you communicate from stress, frustration or anger you will  rarely achieve a good outcome and mostly cause more problems. Through out the course you’ll develop the skills to say what you need to say — directly, calmly, and without aggression or shutdown. Learning how to address issues promptly and communicate clearly even when you are triggered, stressed, frustrated or angry.

Repairing and resolving

When you have reacted out of anger you would have noticed that your situation just got worse. Nothing was resolved and now you are left with more problems. Learn how to address the issues your anger has caused in a constructive way, so you can repair and resolve past problems through effective communication skills.

Anger Management Course

How This Anger Management Program Works

Structured learning combined with psychologist guidance if required.

Most online courses give you content to consume and leave you to figure out the rest. This program is different.

It uses a dual-model approach — combining a structured, self-paced learning pathway with direct accountability and guidance from Clayton if you require it. You work through the program at your own pace, with the option to add 1:1 sessions where you need deeper personalised support.

This is what separates a structured psychological program from an online course.

You also have access to the material for 1 year, so you can review it whenever you need. This helps consolidate learning and in times when you need help the most – have the guidance straight away.

The 6 core areas of learning and practice

The program runs across 6 progressive modules, designed to be self led and completed in your own time.

01

Understanding Anger

Triggers, patterns, and the anger build-up cycle. Why your reactions happen and what’s really driving them.

02

Emotional Regulation

Learn how emotions and physiology hijack your responses. Practical tools to regulate your emotions and behaviour when pressure builds.

03

Managing your mind

Catching and stepping back from reactive thinking — assumptions, escalation, and worst-case interpretations.

04

Responding instead of reacting

Building the pause. Choosing how you respond instead of defaulting to reaction.

05

Communication Skills

Saying what you need clearly and directly — without aggression, withdrawal, or regret.

06

Repair and resolving

Building a sustainable personal system so the changes you’ve made stick — long after the program ends.

Self-paced — but supported

You have lifetime access to the program materials. There are no fixed deadlines or group
sessions — you work through at a pace that fits your life.

Clayton provides guidance and accountability throughout. If you need more targeted support at any point, 1:1 sessions with Clayton are available as an add-on.

Optional 1:1 sessions with Clayton

For men who want additional personalised support alongside the program, individual psychology sessions with Clayton are available. If you hold a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for Medicare rebates on these sessions.

Anger Management Course

Why This Program Is Different From a Standard Anger Management Course

There’s no shortage of online anger management content. What’s rare is a program that’s actually built around how men think, what drives male anger, and what it takes to change it in real life — led by a registered psychologist who works with men specifically. Here’s what makes this different:

Led by a registered psychologist — not a generic platform

This isn’t a pre-recorded course built by an anonymous team of content creators. It’s a program designed and delivered by Clayton J Kuzma — a registered psychologist (AHPRA) with over a decade of specialised experience working with men. The methods are grounded in ACT, CBT, and IFS — evidence-based approaches that produce real behavioural change.

Built specifically for men

Generic anger management content treats anger as a generic problem. It’s not. Male anger — how it builds, how it gets expressed, and what’s actually driving it — has specific patterns. This program was built around those patterns, not adapted from a one-size-fits-all resource.

Dual-model: structured learning + live psychologist guidance

Most online courses give you videos to watch and a quiz to pass. This course combines structured self-paced content with direct access to Clayton for guidance and accountability if you require it.

Start immediately - Finish as soon as you need.

You can start the course immediately, work through it at your own pace and review it any time you like for 1 year. So in those times when you need it most you have the resources available to help.

Clayton J Kuzma

I’m a psychologist specialising in men’s mental health, relationships, and performance. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with thousands of men through individual sessions and structured programs—helping them manage stress, anger, anxiety, and relationship challenges.

My approach is practical, structured, and outcome-focused. This isn’t just about insight—it’s about developing the skills to think clearly, respond effectively, and lead your life with intention.

Alongside my clinical training, my background as a tradesman, complementary health practitioner, partner, and father gives me a grounded, real-world understanding of the pressures men face.

Men who complete the program typically report reduced irritability and reactivity, better communication in conflict, less emotional shutdown, and a clearer sense of how to handle pressure without making things worse. Results depend on consistent engagement with the material.

Yes. The program is designed to be completed with optional 1:1 sessions with Clayton for personalised support, additional accountability, and guidance specific to your situation.

Most approaches focus on suppression — counting to ten, walking away, deep breathing. These help short-term but don’t address the underlying patterns. This program goes deeper: you’ll understand the cycle driving your reactions, build psychological flexibility, and develop practical tools that work in real-world pressure situations.
